On this double LP set Mr. Slowhand teams up with the almighty southern rocker in a series of loose blues jams. All the efforts have been captured at Criteria Studios, Miami, Florida, on the 27th of August, 1970. Sound engineer Tom Dowd left the tapes rollin' all night. Clapton was just hanging around in the studio after recording the influential 'Layla And Other Assorted Love Songs' with Derek & The Dominos. Duane added five notes to the classic track 'Layla' and here our story begins. A meeting of exceptional minds!
