American band Ancient Empire was formed by Joe Liszt (Rocka Rollas, Shadowkiller). The band has to be considered as Joe's (studio) project, except for the first two albums. Ancient Empire show a genuine tribute for classic power metal, with a touch of 90's Iced Earth, Jag Panzer and Iron Savior, but forging at the same time an unique sound thanks to Joe's skills and passionate voice. He has been able to build a solid reputation in the metal scene with Ancient Empire, when it comes to its intense music and engaging themes, becoming a point of reference for all fans of classic metal. The 2019 album 'Wings Of The Fallen' sees a vinyl reissue for the first time.
