Artvark has been around for over 12 years and have played at major international festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival, the Caïro Jazz Festival and Jazz Brugge. They have engaged in special collaborations with artists as varied as jazz legend Peter Erskine, the Danish rock band Efterklang, classical soprano Claron McFadden, Dutch actor John Buijsman and Dutch author Kees van Kooten. They are currently playing two reprises: their theatre concert 'Homelands', in collaboration with singer Ntjam Rosie, and 'Bosch in Bed' together with dance group De Stilte from Breda, the Netherlands.
