Originally released in 1961 on the Cook Laboratories label, this is an extraordinary example of the jazz scene on this West Indies isle. Side A features a group led by RUPERT CLEMENDORE, an amazing drummer, percussionist, & vibes player, covering territory from American Jazz & R&B, to Calypso. Side B, led by bassist JOHN BUDDY WILLIAMS is more straight forward Calypso though it is not without Jazz & R&B influences.
