This eclectic follow-up to Cosmic Rays' self titled debut of 2014 is a huge step forward in songwriting and the band have delivered eight songs that effortlessly segue from hard rock to electronic pop. Despite the various genre hopping that hints at influences from as Faith No More and David Bowie to New Order, the tracks are held together by a dark sense of humour and catchy pop sensibilities that allow the listener to keep returning to the songs.
