US import. Exact repro vinyl reissue of an album by Miles Davis, originally released by Prestige Records in 1956. This LP compiles material from different albums, previously released by Prestige on the discontinued 10-inch format. The first three tracks were originally issued on the Various Artists compilation 'Modern Jazz Trumpets'. A further four tracks first appeared on 'Miles Davis Plays The Compositions Of Al Cohn', and one tune was originally included in the set 'Blue Period'. Also included is a rare B-side. The cover art ws done by MAD magazine cartoonist Don Martin, who designed several album covers for Prestige before his days with MAD.
