Elli de Mon is guitars, bass drum, snare drum, rattles, saturated sounds and Indian psychedelia. 'Pagan Blues' is influenced by the shamanic tradition of distant spellbinders such as Bessie Smith, Fred McDowell and Son House, but also from the dirtier tradition of bands such as Gun Club, Jon Spencer Blues Explosion and The Stooges. Elli fights her demons with the instrument most congenial to her: music!
