Der Plan (Moritz R, Frank Fenstermacher, Pyrolator) were instrumental in ushering in the German New Wave (Neue Deutsche Welle) and are considered free spirits of synthesizer pop. They created electronic music with minimal means, sometimes experimental, playful or even bordering on dilettantism, but always with a sense of humour. The 'JaPlan' (1984) album was produced for the Japanese market, based on a series of gigs for a department store chain. Moritz R, singer and designer of Der Plan has created new cover artwork for the reissue. Contains four bonus tracks.
