Barely saved from obscurity by a series of chance events, John Fizer's only recorded album 'Treasure Man' finally sees the light of day. Fizer was a onetime member of the legendary Ray Bonneville Blues Band and contributor to Folkways' compilation 'Original Folk.' The LP includes tracks that were recorded in 1977 at the Mountain Ears recording studio and features Ray Bonneville, Brad "Honeyboy" Hayes, Erik Bobo Johnson and Brian "Sluggo" Brown.
