'Amour Aveugle' prolongs the pleasure of the soft-rock west-coast albums from the late seventies, between the Doobie Brothers and the glossy productions of Quincy Jones. The writing is neat, the aesthete was brought up with the pop of the Beach Boys. The mischievous texts evoke Katerine while the organic production summons the best of the Francophone variety from the turn of the '70s and '80s, like France Gall, Diane Tell, Michel Jonasz and Michel Berger.
