Repress! 'LIVE AT THE SHOWPLACE, DOVER, NJ JULY 17TH, 1983' - Charged G.B.H. are one of the original and best of the UK82 groups along with The Exploited and Discharge. Combining the raw, brutal energy of the first wave of punk with the pounding beat of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, Charged G.B.H., or G.B.H. for short, released their debut album 'City Baby Attacked By Rats' in 1982 and quickly rose up the charts, reaching #2 on the UK indie chart. The following year saw an extensive US tour that landed them in Dover, NJ at the Showplace on July 17th ripping through classic tracks from their first album, as well as numerous tracks from their debut EP 'Leather, Bristles, Studs And Acne', a few deep cut singles and the killer Stooges cover 'I Feel Alright'. Rounding out this killer release are two demo tracks for the second album 'City Babys Revenge'.
