This collected edition includes 40 pages of never-before-seen additional material and an introduction by Ian Rankin. David wrote this autobiography together with long-time associate Terry de Castro and the stories are illustrated by Lee Thacker. The stories are presented in chronological order, beginning with David's childhood in England and South Africa, and continuing up to the inception of The Wedding Present.
