The 2nd album from Swedish GINGER TREES. A fine release that holds the influences of everything between PORCUPINE TREE to URIAH HEEP, KULA SHAKER and PINK FLOYD. Progressive rock trio Ginger Trees was formed in Sweden in 2003 by Rasmus Blomqvist and Henri Gylander as a realization of the duos electric ambitions. After Ginger Trees formative years, a time of much experimenting, there have been two significant turning points in the history of the band. In 2007 Rasmus Blomqvist moved from Ronneby to Boras and Jonte Johansson replaced long term member Fredrik Hugosson on bass. This consolidated the band to one city, making it easier to rehearse regularly and led to the recording of Came the Morning, the band's 16 track debut album. CTM was released on Blue Topaz Recordings and received good reviews and air play in England, Poland, Greece, USA and Brazil. Songs from CTM were also included on two compilation CDs. In early 2009 Henri left the band and Rasmus, Jonte and Johan decided to carry on as a trio.
