Straight outta Cape Town comes a trashy and primitive Garage-band called THE GUMBO YA-YA'S! These four rockers seem to have raw garagerock in their veins. The characteristic voice of singer Heino Retief (who also plays with THE FUTURE PRIMITIVES and THE REVELATORS) has a cool, relaxed and moaning tone to it and reminds a lot of the fantastic GRUESOMES.
