An electronic echo and synth pioneer, Martin Hannett was fascinated from being a child with 'Dr Who', science fiction and Delia Derbyshire, who was one of the innovators at the BBC Radiophonic Workshop. In September 1982 Martin Hannett put together some tapes of his synth and electronic music and named the project his 'Homage To Delia Derbyshire'. Now presented on CD, that music is available for the first time. The included booklet contains notes from Hannett's files about Delia Derbyshire and other information on her.
