Five years after the release of her last album 'Painted Fire', Gudrid Hansdóttir from the Faroer returns with her album 'Gult Myrkur' (Yellow Darkness). Emotional and very personal, again Gudrid convinces here again with her warm, expressive voice and, for all her love of soft acoustic sounds, with her openness to electronic sounds. She collaborated for the first time on 'Gult Myrkur' with Lív María Róadóttir Jæger, a leading Faroese poet. Liv wrote the lyrics for all album songs.
