'Eraserhead' is an American surrealist horror film released in March 1977. The debut feature of acclaimed director David Lynch, it soon built up a reputation as a must-see piece of surrealist horror cinema. Forty five years later it's still considered an essential piece of filmmaking; as shocking, bizarre and baffling as it was when first released. 'In Heaven' is a celebration of this very unique movie. As well as presenting an overview of the movie's themes and aesthetic, the book is also fully illustrated. Scenes are recreated in black and white mixed media, capturing the dark and grimy despair of the antagonist's world within 'Eraserhead'.
