The solo-project Ildfar plays black metal reminiscent of the Norwegian scene from the mid-'90s. Originally founded in 1994 by sole member Favn, the project has been inactive for a long period of time and never officially released anything. Songs were written, material recorded, but it was in 2018 that Favn decided to start re-recording the old songs for the debut album 'Som Vinden Farer Vil'. Hence, it is no surprise that listening to the album will evoke strong feelings of nostalgia. The CD comes in a 4-panel digipak with 12-page booklet, limited to 500 copies.
