Singer/songwriter Immen has an intriguing warm voice and knows how to create an intimate atmosphere with a dark edge. Although most of the songs are written in English, she sometimes returns to her Frisian mother tongue, which gives her songs an earthy and supernatural touch. Multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Bo Menning is best known for the Utrecht rock band Aestrid, whose music in recent years has walked a special dividing line between '90s emo, shoegaze and post-rock.
