German indie pop band Ivory Clay sees its album 'Doubt' as an avant-garde effort, influenced by an intense examination of a zeitgeist that is deeply affected by uncertainty and fear of the future. As musicians, the members of Ivory Clay feel obliged to face difficult social challenges and to rehabilitate them with their own means. As the musical equivalent to that idea, the focus of the album's production was set on the sound quality which is supposed to create an intense feeling of authenticity.
