The A-side of the first Deep Soul single is taken from the first 'Dave Godin's Deep Soul Treasures' CD and features Larry Banks' second wife Jaibi on 'You Got Me'. Dave adored the record, saying "Without Jaibi's magnificent recording 'You Got Me', my own life would have been less, and certainly Jaibi will always have a special place in my heart and memory because of it." This recording is the same as the 45 but has very subtle female backing vocals, missing from the 45 but featured on what should have been the final mix. It is coupled with the Hesitations' terrific soul vocal group sound of 'Gotta Find A Way', never before on vinyl.
