Backed by Dee Murray on bass and Nigel Olsson on drums, Elton John supported The Byrds in Cleveland on November 26th. His infectious show was broadcast on WMMS-FM and now the recordings are available on CD. His energetic and beautifully paced set featured material from his (then) recent self-titled album and the forthcoming 'Tumbleweed Connection', as well as numerous superb cover versions. The CD comes with a booklet offering background notes and images, and is essential for all his fans.
