'Omo Lewa' is a delicious slice of Afrobeat blended with funk, jazz and highlife in a style that has become synonymous with its creator Peter King, one of Nigeria's most talented multi-instrumentalists. Originally released on Sonny Roberts' Orbitone imprint in 1976, the album was one of King's two 'Afrojazz' releases for the label. Now reissued, including reproduced artwork, 'Omo Lewa' still sounds captivating more than 40 years later.
