Long held in high regard by '60s music fans and collectors Liverpool's Kirkbys actually had only three records released in their lifetime, two singles in Finland only and the classic 'It's A Crime' in their native UK. In 1967 the 7" 'Michael Angelo' and 'Keep Me Warm' were recorded at Regent Sound in 1966 and the only known surviving copy was rescued from a recycling depot in Wales. 'I'll Be Round' has appeared before in only average quality, the recent surfacing of an acetate has allowed this brilliant performance to finally be heard in its intended glory. 'It's A Crime' is a different version to the single and 'I'm Gonna Be A Big Star' was intended as a possible second UK single but was shelved. All five tracks have been restored to the best possible standards, and the CD comes with an 8-page illustrated booklet. The record is a limited edition of 500 copies.
