French multi-instrumentalist Teddy Lasry's story is noteworthy not just regarding the music he has released, but in the ways he approached the craft of composing and experimenting with sounds and sonics. His solo career began in 1975, and during the '70s, his sound would become increasingly mired in electrified funk-fusion. His career was fuelled by innate curiosity and an intrinsic desire to discover new methods of expressionism, through jazz-funk, ambient electronics and experimentation with the synthesizer. On this compilation, we hear the funk-jazz fusion style that he composed in the '70s, along with one of his finest '80s slow jams.
