Benedicte Maurseth is a Norwegian folk musician who is open open to various contemporary influences. Her 2021 album 'Harr' oscillates between Norwegian folk tunes, free improvised music, American minimalism and extensive use of musique concrete. In the tracks you will also hear natural soundscapes via the shufflings of reindeer, reindeer herders, birds and insects all recorded in Benedicte's home area Hardangervidda.
