On CD, this is the sophomore album by Mitochondrial Sun, the solo-venture of Niklas Sundin, best known as a founding member and guitarist of Dark Tranquillity. Showcasing a different side of the project, the material on 'Sju Pulsarer' is fast, urgent and chaotic while still being full of emotionally charged melodies and atmospheric soundscapes.
