The British blues rock band Nine Below Zero has been performing at 'Rockpalast' twice. On August 19th, 1981 they played along with The Outlaws, 38 Special and Thin Lizzy. Fifteen years later, on June 23, 1996, NBZ returned to the Rockpalast stage. The evening's line-up included the southern rockers Molly Hatchet and Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Band and the Muddy Waters Tribute Bluesband.
