The debut album by Stockholm's OAK, a five piece mixing their own particular blend of doom and psychedelic rock, alternating heavy, swirling, seething riffs with beautifully desolate, and slightly sinister, airy movements. Some will think of Earth or early Isis, but beyond the heaviness and the dark riffs their music is also tinged with something out of our primeval, collective consciousness, perhaps reminiscent of Amon Düül or early King Crimson - as the group adds extra color to their sound with leslie vocals, mellotrons and organs.
