A great vinyl-reissue of this 1982 Arabian prog/psych masterpiece by cult band Osiris, hailing from Bahrain. What we hear is a killer blend of '70s sounding hard progressive and psychedelic sounds, with long ripping Mini-Moog and analogue synth attacks and hard lead guitar, but also mellow vibes, Arabian folky touches, exotic percussion and a floating - at times funky - rhythm section. The vocals are in English. The core of this six-piece consisted of brothers Mohamed and Nabil Alsadeqi, who had already been making western orientated music since 1969. Background notes are included.
