Fans of underground favourites Honey Radar will be familiar with band-member Jason Henn and his new Paperniks side-project. Paperniks is a group which at its core is art-punk and brilliant. One part pop, one part experimental and another dose of classic US indie-rock creating an overall lysergic effect where you can't quite pin-point the influences. Both sides of this single sit nicely between Modern Lovers' punky styled forays and Guided By Voices' best pop moments add on top of that an additional Red Krayola free-form freakout element to the mix and you have the Paperniks. The single is limited to 300 copies, each housed in a riso-graph sleeve which has been designed to rotate depending on preference. Includes a hand-numbered insert.
