Reelroad performs traditional Russian music in an original post-folk style. The members play typical Russian instruments such as the gusli (zither), zhaleika (fife) and kaljuka, as well as acoustic guitar, violin, flute, bagpipes, bass guitar and drums. The band's sound is intimate, and at times amplified.
