The Secret Goldfish was formed in 1994 by McCullars and Turnbull, who as teenagers had been involved in the C86 scene via Fizzbombs and Mackenzies. They recorded two sessions, for John Peel, released albums in 1996 and 1999, and then sort of disappeared. Now The Secret Goldfish returns with seven songs, including covers of 'Outrageous Things' by Vic Godard, and Edwyn Collins' 'Ain't That Always The Way'.
