Skorbutiks was founded in 2011 with the intention of playing covers of songs by a.o. Obituary, Asphyx, Bolt Thrower and Pestilence. However, soon the band started to write its own material which (in 2014) resulted in the 'Vision And Monolith' EP. The Italian band's debut-album, 2019's 'Archaeonecrosis', was recorded with a slightly renewed line-up.
