The movie of SLAPSHOT is a one of a kind film on a band although it shows the negative aspects of being in a band as well as the positives. It is the truth of how the most prominent & influential HARDCORE band in america has shaped a generation of hardcore thruout the world, from it's original form SLAPSHOT were destined to save the movement with members of DYS and NEGATIVE FX they formed out of these epic bands & in 1986 they were solely responsible for bringing a sound lost from the the the early 80's. As fast as the hardcore changed from it's original inception SLAPSHOT style of intimidation lyrically musically & theatrically proved to put hardcore back on track through out the late 80's & early 90's.
