Don Slepian has been making electronic and new age music for over thirty years toying with everything from gamelan ensembles to early day electronics. Originally released on cassette only, 'New Dawn' is one of his early '80s albums which uses entirely analogue equipment including mellotrons and Korgs to produce euphoric electronic and ambient composition. Well worth a reissue and a nice addition to the ever increasing canon of new age albums pressed to vinyl.
