Though rooted in hip hop, through the years Scottish singer (of Indian origin) Soom T got more and more seduced by the underground reggae-dub scene, in which she feels free. For 'The Arch', the participating musicians used modern as well as vintage techniques, giving their instrumental authentic flavours. Soom T wrote some highly committed lyrics while retaining a certain lightness to it.
