SPK was an Australian industrial band formed in 1978 in Sydney by Graeme Revell and Neil Hill. By 1983 the band was joined by artists such as Sinan Revell, Brian 'Lustmord' Williams, John Murphy, Karel Van Bergen, Mike Wilkins and James Pinker. SPK's early era (from 1978 to mid-1983) with releases such as 'Information Overload Unit' and 'Leichenschrei' can without a doubt be considered as ground-breaking and protagonistic for then emerging industrial music movement. This CD set combines all of the band's early works and the band's history prior to Graeme Revell signing to WEA, taking the band's musical output in a more commercial direction.
