Kristjana Stefansdottir has been one of the leading artists on the Icelandic jazz scene for years. In 1996 she released her first album which featured Emiliana Torrini and Pall Oskar. Influenced by songwriters such as Nick Drake, Kris Kristofferson and Bonnie "Prince" Billy, Svavar Knutur developed his own style and thus draws his musical journey from misery to salvation. Their album 'Fadmlog' contains an intimate mix of acoustic guitar, ukulele, piano and vocals and have been recorded without overdubs.
