StringStrang is a musical project by artist Jan Kees Helms, who has been active in the music scene since the eighties and has run his own cassette label Lor Tapes. In addition, Helms was the genius behind projects like Post Mortem, JenJen and later StringStrang. 'Waasland' contains soothing meditative moments that are interchanged with the necessary disharmony. The music was made using an electric guitar, a Tibetan sound bowl and a glue stick!
