Written and recorded in complete isolation, Susanna's 2020 full-length 'Baudelaire & Piano' is stripped back to just her expressive, soulful voice and skeletal, trance-like piano playing. The concept of this work is the question what the 19th century French writer Baudelaire would have made of living in the year 2020. The light touch displayed throughout the album allows the extraordinary qualities of Baudelaire's writing to shine through.
