Prior to joining The Sir Douglas Quintet, keyboard player Wayne Talbert released three solo albums. 'Lord Have Mercy On My Funky Soul' is his second album, originally released in 1969. The music features a tough voice and swamp rock elements. This is the first time this album appears on CD.
