With a vocal range over four octaves, Serj Tankian is considered one of the greatest vocalists in hard rock history and best known for fronting the popular band System Of A Down. The songwriter, poet, painter, producer, and political activist performed his suite of compositions - 'Invocations' - at The Soraya, Los Angeles, together with the CSUN Symphony Orchestra, ethnic instrumentalists, choir, and a variety of vocalists including renowned tenor Brian Thorsett, world vocalist Azam Ali, metal vocalist Charles Elliott (Abysmal Dawn) and alto vocalist Francesca Genco.
