A beautiful and highly anticipated release from Sweden's revered Tape. The band began its existence in 2000, which they consider makes them somewhat "veterans in the alternative music world"; their minimalist melodic compositions often defy categorization and exist in a world of its own, outside and in between genres. Their music is always gorgeously beguiling, often acoustic, often with electronic flourishes, wonderfully filmic and totally riveting. Following collaborations on record and on the road with the likes of Japanese folk duo Tenniscoats, Scottish pianist Bill Wells, Cologne sound artist Marcus Schmickler French film maker Cédrick Eymenier, this might just be their first UK release in all these years.
