Tokyokarankoron is one of the hottest bands to emerge from Tokyo's contemporary music scene. Their sound is a joyful mix of influences, ranging from progressive breaks to math-rock skills, new wave moods and '60s rock hooks, while remaining typically Japanese. Ranking high on the Japanese charts, their two albums (on the major label AvexTrax) have gained lots of success, allowing the band to play several sold-out shows at famous clubs and festivals (up to 8.000 people). Now these musicians are planning to take over the world with the vinyl release of 'Go Nin No Entertainer', out on the French label Specific Recordings.
