Though Swedish rock band True Lies has been around for some 30 years, on this sixth full-length there's no lack of inspiration and there are no signs of ageing whatsoever. The material on 'Hoarse' ranges from energetic power pop to edgy rock to big ballads, delivered with the honesty fans have come to expect from its members.
