The title and music reference a number of tragic events that surrounded vocalist Bert McCracken (who at the time dated Kelly Osbourne, resulting in a slot at Ozzfest) during the album's production, notably the death of his pregnant ex-girlfriend. Featured are some of the band's hardest tracks, incl. 'Take It Away' and 'Sound Effects And Overdramatics', as well as some over their most emotional moments ('All That I've Got' and 'Hard To Say').
