An album on Dutch indie label Greyp AS-T records by the VanCooths. The lead vocalist is only 16 years old! The sound of the Van Coothplein! LP is entitled 'Off to the USA'. The band is still a mystery. They seem to hail from Breda in the southern part of the Netherlands and it is said there is some Keefmen and Krontjong Devils involvement. Who cares cause the sound and the songs left the people at Greyp As-T Records with their mouths open. Think of Blondie, the Dum Dum Girls or the Shop Assistants with flashes of garage psych and cold wave. Recorded at the Van Cooth house. The now sound! A first press of 350 copies on coloured vinyl.
