An album of reinterpretations of timeless classics such as "Terrapin", "No Good Trying", "Opel" , "This Is Obvious" and others. 15 groups and artists including: Roses King Castles (Adam Ficek/ Babyshambles) and Jennifer Gentle (the only Italian band on Subpop). a further proof that the music of Syd Barrett is still a great source of inspiration for very different music approaches and this compilation is able to offer a wide range of different styles, from indie/rock oriented groups such as Super Elastic Bubble Plastic to the "Atari" synth pop of Moltheni ending up into the Mesmerico's experimental music madness. There's even an ad hoc group, the Mad Hatters Project, a made up band including members of Low-Fi (founders of the Octopus label).
