Peruvian '60s garage punk legends Los Saicos to the world, DisPeru was the first independent record label in Peru and South America that was founded and run by a woman. Within five years Rebeca Llave Vaccaro turned DisPeru into a successful company and presented some great music acts to the world, most notably Lima's pioneering '60s garage punk legends Los Saicos! This compilation comprises 14 amazing tracks, ranging from cumbia or boogaloo to beat and garage. The album celebrates the legacy of a unique lady who paved the way for future generations of women following their own dreams.
